Engagement Photos at the Salt River

As a wedding photographer, we always strive to capture unique and meaningful moments during our shoots. Often times our clients would recommend some new places to shoot. In this case, Delaney had shared some breathtaking photographs taken at the Salt River, and I was excited to explore a new location for our upcoming shoot.

Before the shoot, I had a few things to keep in mind. I knew I had to pack light, as research suggested that there might be a slight walk to reach the best spots. I also had to decide on the lenses to bring. Considering the need to travel light, I chose the Nikon Z8 as my primary camera and the Z6ii as a backup. I never shoot without a flash, so I made sure to bring it along just in case.

The drive to Salt River was absolutely stunning. The sky was clear blue, and I couldn’t have asked for a better day. I was a bit nervous about what to expect, but based on what I had read about the place, I knew it would all turn out great.

Family Portraits in Phoenix: A Fulton Ranch Adventure

When it comes to capturing the essence of a family in a portrait session, few locations can rival the charm of Fulton Ranch in Gilbert. This picturesque spot, with its creamy spaces, lush trees, expansive green grass, cascading waterfalls, and elegant brick bridges, provides the perfect backdrop for any family to shine.

The convenience of Fulton Ranch is another highlight. Situated close to Gilbert and Chandler, it offers an easily accessible location for families to enjoy their portrait session without the hassle of long travel. Adding to the allure is the quaint watch clock tower that stands proudly in the heart of the neighborhood, offering a unique and timeless element to the photos.

Recently, I had the pleasure of working with Kylie, a fantastic coordinator from RyannRae Events, for her family portrait session. Having known her for a while, I was thrilled when she reached out to me with the idea. Without hesitation, I suggested Fulton Ranch as the ideal location, and the results were nothing short of spectacular.

Wow, what a blast! The Latino vibe was super strong at this wedding. Malyssa and Dorian were such a fun couple. And guess what? The family and friends were totally into it too.
